In fact, true story: Ben's first knife as an 8-year-old kid was this ridiculous double edged dagger with nasty serrations. You see, his grandpa promised the kids on a fishing trip that he'd let them pick out a knife if they caught a fish. Ben caught one, and you can bet your boots he picked out the meanest-looking fixed blade in the display case.
